The all-new generation 2018 Volkswagen Polo GTI is powered by a bigger and better 2.0-litre TSI engine, churning an amazing power of 197bhp. The previous generation Volkswagen Polo GTI variant was powered by 1.4-litre twin-charged engine, which was later replaced by a better 1.8-litre turbo engine. The new 2018 VW Polo is 81mm longer, 63mm wider and 7mm lower than the outgoing model. The wheelbase has also been increased by 94mm, which now stands at 2,564mm. This all-new hatch measures 4,053mm in length, 1,751mm in width and 1,446mm in height. Being built on the MQB A0 platform, the new Polo has an improved road presence with a increase in exterior dimensions. Volkswagen has also claimed that the new Polo is going to offer larger interior space with increased headroom. The boot of 351 litres is also bigger than the outgoing model.
