I am not obsessed with cars. There are many things that I think are more important. I have a family, a career, a bill to pay, a television program to follow, a pile of letters, friends to visit, and my voluntary work. These things keep me busy. If I were truly a “Carman” or when I found out they were calling them in the UK “petrol chief,” I would not have time to sleep and I would alienate everyone I loved with my lack of attention. That said, I don’t want my car to be a dirty cellphone. I would hate to hit a mall parking lot in the automotive that is on par with old sweat pants and a dirty tank top. Like it or not you are what you drive, at least in a few minds.

So what does a man have to do when he doesn’t have time to “prepare” the wheels but he also doesn’t want people to giggle about how stupid his vehicle is? The solution that I found was automotive aftermarket parts. These items, such as special floor mats, decorative gear shifters, billet grilles, or T-Rex grilles, are great for making your simple car-like Jane look like a road warrior. With proxies, you can become a street warrior too, at least until you shift the conversation to your interests in scrapbooking.
I have never known how helpful a specially selected grille is. I got praise from what I found by searching for aftermarket accessories on the web all over the world a few months ago. Since then people have taken my car and the people in it with a little flash in their eyes and far more jealousy. People understand what I’m doing with my car. My friends, many amateur mechanics and who seem to be all amateur car critics, end up liking what I do with my wheels as if I want to tolerate what I used to.
I am very happy that with a little pressure and valuable hassles I can make my car the dream machine it is today. It wasn’t a pile of garbage before, but now with all these aftermarket auto parts it looks like the kind of car that might be respected by the “petrol chief”. I am very proud of many things. I am truly shocked to say that one such thing is the look of my amazing car.
