How to Extract Up to 30% More Power From 2.0T FSI Engine

The introduction from the 2.0T FSI engine for the market in 2015 had many euro enthusiasts excited with anticipation. Probably because the predecessor, 1.8T engine created a lot of impact on the aftermarket euro tuning scene many years after its debut. The 1.8T became one in the most tunable engines in Euros. Performance manufacturers started making an enormous volume of aftermarket parts for your engine, with a lot of parts to choose from, prices for them dropped and come up with the potential for enthusiasts to tune their engines to output a severe volume of power. Back on the 2.0T FSI engine, that exists inside a large various Audi and Volkswagen vehicles worldwide, such as Audi A3, A4, VW GTI, Jetta GLI, Eos, and Passat.

For the North American market, the engine was introduced in 2015 Jetta and 2016 Passat and was 2.0L/200HP 4-Cylinder Turbo FSI ( Fuel Stratified Injection) with 4-Valves per Cylinder at 207 lb-ft of torque. The special features of the engine include exhaust system with 2 catalytic converters, Hitachi ethanol-resistant high-pressure fuel pump, returnless fuel system, homogeneous fuel injection, decoupled final drive sprocket inside balance shaft drive gear, and elliptical secondary drive wheel on the crankshaft. The Fuel Stratified Injection can be a direct-injection system produced by Volkswagen and make use of several VW and Audi cars. The main purpose is always to raise the output of the engine and reduce fuel consumption, and VW claims their FSI can it by as much as 15%.

Since this engine packs the potential, and its particular predecessor has a large amount of earned respect in the performance industry, plenty of companies started manufacturing aftermarket parts for just two.0T FSI. With a large number of parts available for your engine now, tuners can extract around 30% more power in … READ MORE

After-sale, Used, or New Car Parts and Discounts?

The situation when your car needs to be replaced is not as easy as people initially think. There is difficulty choosing between the two types of auto parts available: new ones and aftermarket goods. Besides, there is the trouble of having to spend much. When it comes to cars, most expenses are significant. People suddenly find their vehicles impossible to use and this means unplanned expenses. Unwanted bills can have a significant impact on one’s budget. The buyer must then strike a balance between the price and the type of goods needed.

It is human nature to want to solve car problems – or any problems – at the lowest possible cost and by getting the most compatible solution. Auto parts replacement is a problem that requires quick repair. How can customers who have problems go through choices available online or at local parts dealers? The market currently has three main options: aftermarket, used or new parts but discounts.

    Aftermarket Car Parts

This category refers to vehicle parts manufactured by manufacturers other than the original ones whose signature is on the car itself. However, this specific part is not considered a standard by the original manufacturer and is therefore not among its recommendations, but can be following the ensemble. Because this has not been sampled with all models and brands, a mismatch may arise. Your car may not function properly and, in any case, this carries certain risks such as engine damage. You can buy aftermarket air filters or headlights, but this is not always adherent to quality or performance regulations. However, when you shop with the right features and details in mind, you have all the opportunities to find the right and reliable aftermarket parts.

Known as the most cost-effective option, these auto parts come … READ MORE

Beware Of These Obnoxious And Rude Drivers

I used to have a grueling daily commute of 20 miles on one of the busiest interstates in the U.S; the infamous 405 freeway in Southern California. It was extremely tiring, emotionally draining and, traffic was customarily moving along at five miles per hour but the worst part was dealing with rude and obnoxious drivers on the road. Top obnoxious driving behaviors include; driving like a turtle in the far left lane, cutting people off at the last minute in order to merge onto the freeway, failing to use turn signals and drivers yapping away on their cell phones.

Mr I’m Too Cool For Turn Signals

For some reason this person feels they are above using turn signals unlike normal people. Perhaps they are too important or above the law. For some reason the rules don’t apply to them.   However they have no problem driving like a snake in and out of traffic and expecting me to slow down while they cut me off. All cars come with turn signals for a reason. Use them. It’s really not that hard.

    Slow Fast Lane Hogger

Slower traffic is supposed to keep to the right while the far left lane is meant for passing and it’s called the fast lane for a reason. There is nothing more aggravating than being in a hurry and getting stuck behind someone who thinks its OK to drive 40mph on the fast lane with a clear and open road ahead.  It completely defies all logic. The end result is that the entire lane gets backed up for miles with unsuspecting drivers stuck behind the lone slow driver.  I am sure that the driver is aware that I would like to pass, but for some reason he decides to just coast along while I’m stuck behind him.… READ MORE

Situation About Key Parts of China’s Automotive Industry

China’s automobile industry has gained a rapid development. In 2009, annual output reached 13.79 million. And China is one of the biggest car manufacturers in the world. However, some important parts such as bush bearings, axle guides, thrust washers, and auto mold parts mainly depend on imports which bring a golden opportunity and a big challenge for Chinese bearing manufacturers and the automotive mold manufacturing industry.

At present, China’s resource-efficient bearing manufacturing technology, which is an independent intellectual property, is more material-efficient and energy-efficient than conventional bi-metal bearing manufacturing technology. It requires less investment and less usage of equipments. Thus, it is an excellent opportunity for development. Until the end of the patent license of “Automotive mold self-lubricating composite metal embossing die V block” in 2009, China had completed the restructuring of the traditional and existing sintering bi-metal manufacturing technology of sliding bearing through twenty years’ accumulation and efforts. And then China realized the form of making various categories of bearings made of steel – copper alloys. There are bushing bearings, thrust bearings, sliding bearings with special shapes, and sliding bearings with solid lubrication, etc.

The rate of utilization of the steel and copper alloy materials has reached nearly one hundred percent. Since then, the manufacture of sliding bearings have changed from the rough shaping of the material removal into a net shape processing which has high efficiency, light weight, and low-cost and so on. The method of making clean shapes helps save material and energy so that it can provide sliding bearing accessories for the development of China’s automotive industry.

The automatic mold industry is known as “the mother of the automotive industry.” To some extent, the mold industry is a sign to measure the level of development of car manufacturers or even the national automotive industry. Despite years … READ MORE

    Employees Coming in Late

When you start to see a pattern in behavioral issues; such as an employee coming in late, here are the things you need to consider:  1) If you don’t nip it in the bud it will get worse. 2) Employees need to be responsible for their own behavior. 3) They need to know why you have a special policy. So, next time an employee starts developing bad behavior patterns, such as arriving late, calling them to the private environment and asking them why they are late. When they have given you their explanation, say something like this …

“Mike, I realize you’ve been late four times now this month, and let me tell you what concerns me. First of all, if you’re not here at 7:30 in the morning, the first thought that comes to mind is that you or someone in your family might be sick or injured, and you might need my help.my second thought was that your car might be damaged, or you might be in an accident, and I began to wonder if I should send Larry or Frank out to look for you. complicates matters even further, when you are not here on time, and I stand at the service counter, I don’t know what to tell customers who ask me if their car will be ready for the day, and then there’s one more thing, Mike. I just can’t expect anyone else here at Acme Auto Body to be here on time when you don’t, now that I know old habits are hard to break, so this is what I will do. Next time you are late, I will ask why, but it really doesn’t matter because that one will happen to me. If you are late, once again I will ask why, and … READ MORE
